Tuesday 2nd Scripture: Mark 12:13-17 Reflection: It would seem simple to give what belongs to the Emperor to the Emperor and give what belongs to God to God. But in today’s world we have blurred the line, or at very least confused the distinction. We have made many things more important than God, and so we are unable to distinguish which belongs where. How do we keep them in the proper perspective? By looking at the two great commandments, and then living them. Can you?
Monday 1st Scripture: Mark 12:1-12 Reflection: The owner of the vineyard, tried on many occasions to collect his share of the produce. Each time he was rejected. If we take the time to reflect - to recall our faith journey, we can probably see many times when God was reaching out to us. Yet we rejected, spurned, even fought with, the Divine hand stretched out towards us. Did you notice that God’s hand is always outstretched towards us? What stops you from taking it?
