When we are unable to understand, or we feel uncomfortable about someone, we often demonise them.  Find an excuse why they must be ignored, not listened too, silenced, perhaps even destroyed.  I wonder what would happen if we listened, and not silenced, if we engaged instead of turning away, if we preserved and not destroyed?  Which do you choose?
